This, unfortunately has been posted/reported several times.

General consensus: Yes they deserved to die and I hope they burn in hell.

On a more serious note: What conversation lead to this part actually being produced? "I love my Rx-7, but i wish I could fit a mini fridge in the hatch!"

That monstrosity is not worth four thousand dollars. I don't care how rare it is.

You would need to pay me to take that thing. And convince me to want it, which would be near ON impossible.

Easy fix – get another car (you can buy a beater wagon for under whatever that cost).

Lol, the good ol' Trust/Greddy hatch. I always found it comical that they produced this piece. Maybe someone wanted to make their FD into the ECTO1/Ghostbusters Hurse

Great way to make the car far more practical without really impacting performance. A "beater wagon" isn't exactly going to give the same driving experience, now is it? LOVE this idea and would like to see a lot more hatchback sports cars with a "wagonback" available.
It is even somewhat functional aerodynamically, reducing rear lift. Though it doesn't look so hot with the rear wing...
Anyway, personally I love the look of all of these:

a few years back the greddy warehouse in CA was clearancing those out on ebay for $300 + shipping (yes they originally retailed for thousands close to 5k i believe). They couldnt even sell them then iirc. Talk about bad product development-

Oh yeah, also

I will admit the FD wagon back doesn't exactly flow with the bubbly roof...

Still, a somewhat practical solution to being able to drive a serious sports car while adding some utility!

And then again, the more I look at it, the more I like it!

Well, I used to be able to get freaky with my girlfriend in the back of my 2nd Gen. That ain't happening in the FD. This might help a little.

I don't think it's very attractive....but, yes-I think it'd actually be handy to have, if you really wanted to keep your vehicle count down.

The only question would be, Can you fit 4 track rims in there? The answer is probably no

I don't know...it really isn't THAT bad at all. Kind of reminds me of an MX-3.

From what we can see from the pics it seems to be a very well-made piece, which is something.
