I like to use the fan for cooling down. Usually I'd turn on the AC and fan switch to turn the fan on sooner. But if the fan (AC and fan switch on) runs with the engine at idle, it'd make lots of noise, pretty loud too. If the fan runs when the engine is off, I guess it's ok. And today, the fan (with AC and fan switch on) made the engine die. WTF?

 

By the way, if the fan comes on automatically without using the AC and Fan Switch, then there's no problem even if the engine's running
