WTF is up with people not following through?

How come no one ever follows through. I've come across so many threads where the know it all's flame people for not searching. Well I searched, but no one ever follows through! Here are some examples.

https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...ght=boost+drop

https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...ght=boost+drop

https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...light=3rd+gear

I sit there and read throught the posts, people are kind enough to take their time and make suggestions, but the idots never come back and post the results! What good is the thread if we don't know what the results are. I say if you ask someone for help, and that someone takes their time and make some suggestions, come back and tell us what happened.

I'm sick of searchin. Afraid to post because I'll get flamed for searchin. Damn!

I agree. Is it that hard to click the "back" button? People may like getting advice for themselves. Most of the time a search covers it, and sometimes it just wolnt do. Stop flaming the noobies please (myself included)

People do that a lot around here, both the angry, search yelling veterans, and the ungrateful, not following up rookies.
Why don't you just ask a question, and see if we can help.

I'm having the same boost issues related to the links above. 10-8-8,7,6,5. Steady at 5. I'm gonna trouble shoot it in the following weeks using the advice. It's just that if they come back with the solution, I could start on that first. We all know how delicate this car is. There are hundreds of variables. It would save lots of headaches if people come back and post their findings.

Well, you could do a few things. Bring the old thread back up and ask what the results were. Or, since you've searched and couldn't find an answer, just post the question! People get irritated when people ask questions that have been answered hundreds of times. But if you genuinely search and can't find anything, post!

i agree with you guys. that is kinda irritating. especialy if you were helping someone.
the only questions i say search to are opinion questions. like the 5 threads in one day started about SMIC v.s. FMIC... or "should i get a turbo timer".
technical questions are diferent. so many variables. and yes, the person should followthrough with the "solution" that they found via all the input given to them.

well seeing as I was in 2 of them. The boost leaks were caused by a vacuum line and a torn IC coupler. I posted those back when I first got the car so I wasn't quite sure what to look for, hence the posts.
