WTF happened to CWR (crooked willow racing)

Hey guys has anybody heard from CWR i spend every day emailing Duane once a day. It says his email is full and my emails cannot reach him...the only reason why i am concerned is that duane owes me a large amount of money and i dont want to be a dick about it but it seems like he is avoiding me. SO LET ME KNOW IF YOU ALL KNOW ANY OTHER WAY TO GET IN TOUCH WITH HIM besides his email addresses. Thanks and peace out

I've got the same issue. Hopefully somebody knows something. Apparently CWR is something he does on the side, not his main livelihood. I know that he dropped out of sight a few months ago, and when he came up for air said he and his wife had had a premature baby that had been pretty sick in the hospital awhile. Certainly something related could have come up, so I'm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, but if he won't return emails, all I can do is get more and more frustrated.

Duane is a total flake and I hope he is reading this. It took him days to cash a $7000 check for a car I bought from him but it took his lazy *** 5 MONTHS to send me the title for the car. He said he "lost" it and filed with the Cal DMV for a lost title. After waiting like 3 months I called the Cal DMV and they said he hadn't filed anything. After that it still took him 1 MONTH to file for the lost title!!!

There are people that bought his IC that NEVER got the duct, he owes them.

File a complaint with the California Department of Justice, that will get his attention. People with good/decent credit and good jobs have something to lose and will respond. People that don't have jobs or credit "you can't get blood from a turnip".

Hi Duane.

When I picked up the FD from him he was rolling a new E46 M3.

It took 8 months to get the CWR sway bar mounts (no longer listed on their site) that I bought from David Breslau (who used to be associated with CWR in some form that I don't have all the details on), so Duane isn't alone in the procrastination department. The CWR web site says the last update was May 19, 2002, so that should tell you something.

I ordered Duane's dual oil coolers just last August, in a rush for a September track event, and he not only honored an expired group-buy price, but i got them complete, in time for install before my event.

Yea that's too bad. I've always had good service with Duane. I bought a used dual oil cooler kit that didn't have the mounting brackets.

He sent them out to me for free.

Recently, I upgraded to the 99 spec nose and I upgraded to the CF ducts for the 99 spec which he sent out quickly.

I got mine from FritzFylnn not from Duane himself yet Duane sent me the mounting brackets free of charge.

That sucks about your experience with him. I hope the issues gets resolved.
