No, he was drifting, whether he was doing so intentionally is a whole nother issue.

If he had swerved silly, the nose or fender would have hit, not the rear quarter. No, he was drifting, whether he was doing so intentionally is a whole nother issue.

No, but based on the pictures, the fact that he recently bought the car and that he's 17 years old and more than likely irresponsible I'd say he was either going too fast on that on-ramp and began "drifting" unintentionally into a telephone pole, or he tried to drift like those crazy Japs do and hit the pole.

According to your profile, it says you were born in 1987.

So going by your logic (which is idiotic), you are likely irresponsible and should not own a FD. But I imagine you will respond to my post by saying you are no typical 17 year-old and drove in the Daytona 500 at the age of 14. And also you only have one leg and have to press the clutch in with your left hand.

I'm with Fumanchu, I'm young but not that stupid, its guys like you that give guys like me a bad name. By looking at pic and then "knowing" he was drifting you just prove that you don't know, that you're pulling assumptions out of your *** and should probably shut up now before pissing off more people such as myself.

And another thing, Fu was stating that I'm just like the kid not that I was making false assumptions ***, reading comprehension is a vital tool, you should really take some time to learn it.

Whether you care is of little importance, but being a dumbass and giving young guys an even worse reputation does matter.

Where do I start. Maybe you should actually use your "reading comprehension tool". I WAS commenting on your lame assumptions.

I don't know if noob is an appropriate word, almost 40 posts in the first day? Is that a record? And not having an FD must make you an expert on them and the driving thereof.

more pics

more pics modem users beware

The area of the accident is flat two lane with short merging lane. Cust stated that when he shifted from 2nd to 3rd is when the back tires broke loose and he spun out. I think either he was trying to drift or he never let off the gas when he shifted into third or he doulbe clutched it because the surface was concrete. The lamp pole he took out was in the grass between the two roads. No oil slick/potholes/traffic/dog etc.. just him and the lamp pole. When it was all over with the car was in the middle of the southbound side.

The first pic shows a hole that was punctured in the floor pan of the drivers side
(**** probe)

The drivers seat is bent towards the side of impact from the jarring of the body.

the spoiler almost came off from impact most of the bolts were ripped out

How much would someone guess that the in$urance company will pay from experience of dealing with this type of car/loss?? The cust is hoping for 10k and to buy it back for 3k
