would u go with ACT street/strip clutch or a 6 puck?

Im just about to buy a new clutch and flywheel, I was just wondering if with my mods a street/strip clutch will last. I dont want to be replacing it all that soon. I do drag quite often, and once I find some autox's around here I'll do that too. I am also planning on going single in the next year or so too. So what would you recomend, oh and what weight flywheel should I get. And is there anything else I need when replacing clutch/flywheel?

6 puck is for stright drag racing, and if your getting a lighten flywheel, your going to either stall your car alot or bog it down alot out of first gear with it. I wouldnt recommend a 6 puck unless your single turbo and drag very often, cause it just kills daily driving. Ask TTT he has a 6 puck and he stalls his car all the time and its a PITA to drive. And if your getting a lighten flywheel that would just make it worse. Go with the street/strip.

i agree with crashunit...i was at a friends house last night..fdracer...he was complaining about his choice to go with the lightened flywheel and is actually taking his out and selling it...its a pita to drive here in LA...

the act will work great with your mods...I run more mods than that and have the act with the stock disk...the stock disk is fine...its just the stock pressure plate that blows and the act will be a good replacement for that...its very streetable and will hold up to abuse.

I have the ACT street strip + SR 9.5 flywheel

If i were to go back and do it again, id get the 6 puck. Street strip grabs fine, but i was just expecting much more.

I dont know why everyone complains about the flywheel. I dont think it made the car harder to drive at all. I mean it just like gettin used to the new clutch right? Its a bit different at first, but once you get the hang of it, its cake!

see this is what I mean I dont wanna get a street/stip clutch only to install it and want a 6 puck. I also dont wanna burn through a clutch real quick. Do you think the ACT clutch will stand up to lots o abuse.

The street/strip will hold over 400lbs of torque. There are very few 7's that produce that kind of power. If your car is a street car go with the street/strip. The 6puck is not a fun clutch on the street.

I have a 6puck and it's not bad in traffic once you get used to it. There are occasionally a few embarrasing shudders though

I don't know much about clutches.

Can someone tell me the differences between the ACT street/strip, 4-puck, and 6-puck?

well I went with the 6 puck, after I talked to Jason ( I think it was him, has a T-78 knew his **** ) I do race quite a bit, and I dont really feel like wearing out a clutch, plus later on down the road when I go single it will handle it better.
