I wouldn't use any bearing showing copper.

For only $20 or about that I would definitely replace any bearing in question.

93 main bearings are like 50 bucks, as I recall.

change them out. any kind of part that does not pass visual examination (uneven wear)could be suspect and the cause of lot of heartache later on.

Thanks guys.. The rear bearing is also showing some copper, but not near as much. I'm replacing them both. After all money is like bull doody, it's no good unless you spread it around.
