I have seen this one on ebay. Would it work? I do not have the money for a pfc. wanting to run somewere around 14 psi. can i do this with this and the mods i have?

i would just go with the Apexi Power FC. It is tuneable for when you want to add more mods onto your car.

The Pettit ECU's work well even with midpipes and race/street ports. Many people have put down 350-360rwhp using their ECU's.

Great ECU for those that just want a plug-n-play upgrade.

No tuning, it's already tuned.

The ECU has fuel cut at 14.7 PSI.

Installation is easy, unplug your current ECU, put the Pettit one in it's place.

Wouldn't CA users have a problem with the EGR not functioning since this is a non-CA unit?

If the car is a Cali car and the ECU is a non-Cali ECU (or vice versa, non-Cali car and Cali ECU), then the will be the issue of the EGR.

This may sound like n00b question but will this ecu work with a '94 non-cali car?

I agree. Tuning is the single most important upgrade you can do to your car...bar none. Often overlooked in the import scene today by lesser enthusiast who would rely on piggy-back controllers or modified stock ECU's, which are simply not reliable and do not provide the tuning flexibility of a totally programable EMS. I'd run the PFC w/datalogit. Alot of people use it so there's plenty of knowledge and experience out there on the best way to tune and calibrate it with the mods you're running with. The PFC should be your first mod, before exhaust, air filters, downpipes, or ......aluminum wings . If not, you'll end up costing yourself alot more money in the long run.
