I think I'm going to sell mine before it becomes the next Civic... Or has it already?

It makes little sense to sell a car with such a low retail value... what are our cars worth 20k max?? and most are worth less than 15K... what could you possibly get for 15k that is even remotely comparable. Just buy another car and keep the RX in the garage if you are unhappy with it.

maybe you just had some bad luck. i would say with it for a bit and see what happens, dont wann go selling it just casue of a of one random problem. make sure the rest of the car is legit and just take care of it and dont do nothing crazy and should last you.
i had a problem with my ecu and then i blew my motor, after it was all sorterd out the car runs great have had no problems. just a though

Well, my situations is I got in a fender bender nothing big but enough to up my insurance up to 340 a month and from what the insurance company tells me its only going up, so instead of selling my car im planning on just letting it sit while I pay it off. HAHA, thats how addicted I really am.

Dear FemaleTuner,

There is a big RX7 meets in Raleigh NC every 2nd and 4th Saturday at 6:30pm. You can see the thread below for more detail. We have approx. 10-15 7's there on every meet and member seems to grow bigger at each meeting.
https://www.rx7club.com/se-rx-7-forum-35/saturdays-raleigh-nc-299706/
Come on by and check us out if you, we will be happy to welcome you here!! Oh yeah, you probably won't be alone in the meeting either since some of the guy bring their gf there as well ^_^

Rotorsport racing is probably the only RX7 shop in NC with spotless record. I highly recommend them for their service and knowledge. Their price is also reasonable as well. If you prefer to hire someone privately to work on your car, I know few good local RX7 tuners in the triangle area if you are interest. Let me know and I will be happy to help.

By the way, me and my FD is located in Cary NC.

P.S. I agree with people's comments here, I will not turn away the RX7 unless financial situation not allowrarity you to do so. It is indeed a very special and rare car compare to rest so called "general mass production" model out there. The key point is to establish and knowing some people who offer to help when you face difficult situation.

Andy

I used to live in Oak Ridge (in between Kernersville and Greensboro). Where did you get your Montego Blue FD? I had a MB '93 Touring back in '97 that I sold to a dude named Kevin. I originally bought it at Bob King Mazda in WS. They had a fantastic rotary tech there back in '97 (I don't remember his name though). Good luck with the car.

Female Tuner....

One thing all of us MEN have in common..
WE love Cars and Women..

Show some T & A and your FD..

You'll have 99% of these guys with their expertise bending
over backwards to help/fix your FD and probably get free parts and labor.

BTW: I got guys with VIPERS/Porsches/Corvette/Hotroders all sweating my FD.
And to know that my 12yo FD can keep up or beat them give me great satisfaction.

No better site than a Sweet FD with a HOT Hunnie behind the wheel, a Kodak Moment

You're an idiot. Why don't you show some respect? How would you like it if I asked your mom to show me her "T & A"?

hahahhaha i hate to say it but he's rigth we live in a society where women are so exposed to a point where it's common, it only makes us look bad and makes it harder for us to get some bang bang. But whatever tickles his pickle.

I am definitely keeping my RX-7 because:

a) I just drop a gear & disappear
b) It gives me the most smiles per gallon
c) cheaper than a shrink

I will try to email my pics to the guys that have pm me and asked. I can't figure out how to paste it here for the whole forum, but I will still try to get them for ya'll. I bought the car in Manassas from a kid who bought the car from Peter Farrell without putting any miles on the car himself. The tech at Bob King is Rob and I trust what he says. I talked with him today and he told me I should keep it and enjoy it.

I use 93 octane with a booster, the car came from DC area and they could get 95 at the pump. Believe me, I hold my own at the car shows, I would rather stand my 7 and get drolled over rather than have drunks yelling at me in a bikini.

Cool. I thought it might be my old '93 MB Touring, but guess not. Wonder what happened to that car?

I think Rob is the guy who replaced my motor in my MB back in '97. He had one of the best reputations in the region at the time. I had no problem with him doing work on my car then.

You can attatch pics of the car in the "Additional Options" part below where you type your reply in. There's a button that says "Manage attatchments". You can do it there, find the pictures on your HD, and then attatch them to a post.

I don't think I would sell mine especially for the insane amount of money I recently dropped in it.

zmarko....too bad we can't do a "where is your seven now" post for people who sold there seven and where they are now...
