what do you mean by saying "but its an auto" its still an FD and can be upgraded just like the man trans cars. most of the auto's are in better shape than the man trans cars so 8k is a good deal if its in good condition. but have it checked out by a rotary shop before you buy .

the auto trans can hold 280-300 hp no problem. I am sure that I am close to this now. running without any problems. this is fast for a street car, and will give you a nice upgrade path over stock while still being reliable. so for 8k I would take a good look at this car if its as clean as you say it is.

i like my auto... i drive it everyday.

an rx7 is only worth the value of the exterior, imo. if it's clean, well taken care of then you should be ok. just assume that the engine will give problems and that things under the hood will break... this is regardless of how well the car is taken care of.

Agreed...there are enough things to keep up with w/o adding cosmetics to the list. Unfortunately I had a hail storm roll over mine so I'm a big fan of a clean canvas to work with.
