It can be solve temporary by spraying a little bit of WD-40.... Advice guys?

It is a simple process to replace the bearing in the pump. The bearing is avalible at any of the masss "zone" auto stores. I have rebuilt many of them.

Mine went bad and was making more noise than the engine itself.
Huge difference since I changed it out.

Don't over tension the belts, guys. Too much tension drastically shortens the life of the bearings in the accessories because of the side load on the pulley. The belts don't require near as much tension as most seem to think.

So to adjust the tension, I just loosen the pulley (power steering pump) nut a bit? I think the prev mech has tighten to the max for both the idler pulley and power steering pulley

If I remember correctly, you loosen the nut on the pulley next to the power steering pump (small pulley in your pic). Then loosen the bolt on top of the bracket holding that pulley. The bolt is pointed down vertically to that pulley. You loosen that bolt up and the pulley will move up, easing tension.

bringing this back from the dead...

im hearing a grinding noise in conjunction with a slight squealing. this only happens in the lower RPM range. after searching, and searching and hours of reading im almost positive that my p/s pump pulley has a worn bearing. question is, could it be possible that the (possible) worn bearing is slowing the pulley enough to cause the belt to slip over it? could my belts have stretched over time? could the recent super-humidity have caused all this in the first place?

need some further help on the issue....
