Just about everytime I work on the FD, I just HAVE to drop something in the engine bay and spend time looking for it. Last time, I dropped a fuse, so I couldn't get it when a magnet, so I had to lift the car, crawl under it and try and manage to grab it with my hands.
I think I still had some skin left on my arms, but not much

I had pulled the motor on my FB to replace a blown front cover and oil pan gasket, remove the rats nest, and install a Delloroto 48 sidedraft. For some reason or another, I had removed the front wheels sometime that day. Get everything all back together, and it wont start, just cranks and cranks and acts like it wants to start. I figure it must be flooded, so me and my buddys tie it to my buddys explorer, and were going to tow it around my neighbor hood and compression start it. Were doing about 35mph or so when my front drivers side wheel falls off. i slam down onto the rotor, breaking the tow rope. Somehow, the dust shield had folded over the bottom of the rotor and saved it. nothing was damaged. Just bent the shield back, found the lugnuts, put the wheel on, and went home.
Turns out my dizzy was off a tooth.
