And they are trying to make it easier for us to join!
One published race result required

For me thats as simple as linking a photo of results from our autocross clubs results showing my times. Basically, anything that shows them you are out racing a Mazda (or Mazda powered race car).

Would it need to be a "race" or can HPDE count?

Needs race results, but you dont have to win.

Clubs allowed include drag racing, so coulddo bracket racing?

I used a HPDE and they didn't have a problem with it, I do not know if that is the norm though.

I also used a HPDE. The organizer I usually run with, Speed Ventures, was one of the options on the Mazda Motorsports website when I signed up. Basically just need a copy of your registration email. (Your name, car, event location, date.) After you sign up, you'll have to call the number, the guy will review your application then add your car. After your car is in, you'll be able to search Mazda part numbers related to your car. Be advised that it is car specific, so I currently have my NC Miata and buddy's RX8 signed up, but I haven't taken the FD out yet.

When we rebuilt the engine for the RX8, it probably saved us $500 compared to retail prices. The one thing I forgot to do was to look up the part numbers for swag. Patches, shirts, hats. I dunno if it's there, but I'm gonna find out for next time.

my bad, the REW short block is listed under Motorsport part #0000-01-7901, you don’t have to be a member to order motorsport parts, only OE parts. It is listed as backordered though; you will just have to order it and wait.

they have promotional stuff/swag listed under the Motorsport parts using the front page pull up list as well

Otherwise just the usual Mazda Collection swag
