Red face Won't Start!

Posting for a friend...

His car doesnt seem to start anymore, unless jumped.

He left the car for a bout a week without running, came back to it and it was dead. He jumped it, drove to work(20 min) and shut it off. The car won't start now unless jumped. Even right after he jumps it and turns it off, and tries to start again, it's dead.

He got the battery load testing @ a Kragen, and they said it was fine.

We just recently tried to start it after he left the car out, with the battery terminals disconnected. It started the first try, but shortly after that, we tried to start again but to no avail.

Seems like the battery's not keeping a good charge...but it will start after sitting for a while....could this be a wiring issue? Alternator issue?

Thanks in advance...

i just went through this about a month ago. It turned out to be my grounding wires. They were bad even though they checked out ok on the voltometer.

Sounds like it could be an alternator, you can get your charging system tested at a local auto parts store. Check grounds to as stated above.
