Does anyone has pix that show the different of US's 255 turbo unit and JDM 280 hp unit? Like side by side? Or just the 280 hp ones that show the actual turbo.

Yes, there are pictures posted in various threads, so you should probably be able to find something by searching.

I also have both types sitting on the workbench in my garage. I'll have a chance later on this week to get you some pictures of whatever you need. Shoot me a PM with exactly what types of shots you need, and I'll take care of it.

OKay, sorry for the long delay. I know there are other pictures out there on the forum, but here are some more that should give interested people another point of reference.

First, the two sets side by side. 99spec (280hp) turbos on the left, 93spec on the right. Notice that the 99s have gold colored wastegate actuators, whereas the 93s have greenish/black. Also, you can see the black plastic abraidable seal surrounding the compressor wheel on the 99s (the 93s do not have this).

Pictures of compressor wheels/housings. First pic is of 93, second is the 99spec.




Lastly, pictures of how the compressor housings attach to the assembly. First is the 93, which uses a big C-clip. Second pic is 99spec which uses bolts.
