Has anyone taken a standarded Halon Extinguisher 2.5lb and hooked it to braided lines and ran it under the hood to make a fire supression system?? I want to mount it in the passanger floor board and just pull the pin and fire it from within the cockpit.

whats your alls thoughts?

 

I dont think 2.5lb is enough to put out a FD roast ? I would imagine you would have to replace the valve off a regular one to get the effect your looking for. Just pulling the pin doesnt do anything untill you squeeze the triger


I have a 5lb Halon in my Fd and will have a 5lb suppresion system installed soon, then I will sleep at night.
