wiring...
I'm considering buying a roller without any wiring on the car. That is, no fuse boxes or anything other than the window and rear taillight wiring.
What I'm wanting to know is; will this be more of a hassle than it's worth to get all of this back in the car? Is this typically easy to come by on sales here? I planned on buying a brand new main wiring harness for the engine/ecu, so that's not a big deal.
All of this may not be a big deal, however it has kept me unsure as if I should jump on this project.
Your input greatly appreciated.

There are a good number of wiring harnesses. Are you building a race car or street car?
If you need all of them, I would budget a couple grand. Or PM a guy like Fritz Flynn who stocks loads of used parts. New from Mazda will be rape to buy all the body/interior/front engine harness.

Additionally, from my own experience, wiring tends to be a short coming on these cars and if you're buying a bare shell and have the chance to rewire the whole car, I'd say that's not too bad of a deal. Most of us have replaced our engine and ignition wiring harnesses. A lot of these cars have also had aftermarket alarms installed half assed, causing problems like the one in my current thread where the car will not crank.
Honestly, I'm about ready to just rip out the dash and redo the entire dash harness(which is actually 2 harnesses).
