Hmm they do look similar, but I'm still getting paranoid

What are the physical differences between Pettit and RX7Store?

Whats wrong with the downpipe you have now? In terms of physical difference the rx7store is fully polished. Last time I checked the Pettit wasn't.

I have the stock DP with the precat right now...

Are the inner dimensions of the RX7store and Pettit DPs the same?

Cheaper manufacturers may choose to use 304 in stread of 316 or 321, welds that don't penetrate and thin flanges that warp. How's that? lol. Imo polishing should be the last thing the op is concerned about. Also Jason, out of curiousity do you make yours in house?

Mainly me paying for something that isn't what I thought it was, etc.

I actually found a M2 DP in the classifieds so I just went with that

We dont make ours in house.

Really a downpipe is the last thing you should worry about it being a high quality. I have installed just about every downpipe on the market and they all do the samething. Some are easier to install than others but I have never seen a flange warp or a DP crack and that includes some of the ebay pipes. Even the cheaper ones are going to out live the car. Main thing to worry about is fitment. Some of them are a pain in the *** to install.

yeah but everyone knows that the rx7 store DP works just fine. hence it's just a pipe.
