Alright, my ECU will not power on. Stock or Power FC, I have a commander and it wont turn on and the car will not start.

I am curious where the ECU get's it's power source from, which wires? That way I can trace them...

 

I'm trying to remember from when I rewired my whole car but here goes. I believe it goes from the curcuit open relay. From there it turns to a black w/white stripes wire to the ECU. Don't know if this is totally accurate but find that black and white wire. If it doesn't show a 12+ then you've narrowed at least something down

 

try the black w/white stripes wire. That wire goes from the open curcuit relay to the ECU. That's the wire I used when rewiring my whole car.

 

Well I know there are about 3 wires in which it gets power. There is a constant to keep the memory powered, there is the power line which turns on the computer when the ignition is activated, and there is one more.

Is this black cable with white stripe the constant? Or the one after the vehicle has been turned to the "ON" position?

 

I want to say it is pin B1 on the ECU, it is a black wire with white stripe. I think it is fed from the main fuel injection relay. Don't quote me on that though.
