So winter is almost here. I've made my list and started some of my projects.
This is where I'm at right now:
92' FD Montego Blue (RHD) w/ 53000km. (stock motor and twins)
Apexi N1 catback, Bonez highflow cat, downpipe, arc air box, Greddy BOV, aluminum AST, ground wire kit, engine torque damper, Greddy turbo timer, cheap Glow Gauges from ebay (water temp, oil pressure, boost), and power fc.
Maintenance - new plugs and wires, oil and filter, K&N air filters, o2 sensor, radiator and coolant hoses, fuel filter, diff and tranny fluids, belts, water pump and coolant level sensor, etc ...

My list:
HKS RS intake - polished
Greddy SMIC - needs to be polished
Greddy elbow and pipe - polished
Defi Gauges (water temp, oil temp, boost) - have
Drill and tap water temp sensor into thermostat housing
Fix or replace oil pressure sender
Efini y-pipe and crossover pipe - polished
Turbo inlet pipe - needs to be polished
Throttle body - needs to be polished
UIM - needs to be polished
Build new sub box to fit where back seats are and add 2 new amps
Duct for Greddy SMIC - Need (I'll probably just build one out of aluminum)
HKS Twin Power - Need
HKS SSQV - Need
Supra fuel pump - Need
90deg elbow from crossover pipe to lower intake on Greddy SMIC - Need
New power steering pulley or pulley kit - Need
New gaskets for y-pipe, crossover pipe, and turbo inlet pipe - Need (Where do I get these???)
Front brake kit - Need (one of the dust boots got ripped when I painted my calipers this summer)
Vacuum hose job kit - Need Has anyone used this stuff? http://www.verociousmotorsports.com/...Cured-Silicone I bought some last year to replace some of the vacuum hoses and it seems to be okay. Just wonder if it would work for all the whole hose job without any ill affects?
Some of the stuff I have:

So right now I'm in the process of polishing. It really sucks but looks great after it's done. Any tips to make it easier? Also if any one has any of the things listed as "NEED" or know where I could get them send me a PM. In the spring I think Steve Kan is coming down here to do a couple of tuning days. Hopefully I'll get all this **** done by then. Anyways, any comments or suggestions on what else needs to be done before I get this thing tuned would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

My advice from a quick scan...
Get rid of the Turbo Timer, it will do more harm than good.
Look into getting a Pettit duct for the Greddy SMIC.
What boost lvl are you running, what lvl do you plan on running?
How is the HKS SSQV an item you "need"??? for your current setup I don't think you'd even qualify to "need" your Greddy unit...
Have a compression test run on your engine, have your injectors cleaned/balanced/flow tested. Be able to explain in detail exactly why you *need* these items... What are your end goals, what do you need to acquire these goals, why?

To Azcamel:
I got the cooling plate of of ebay a while back for $50. If you want to make one your best bet is to cut a peice of cardboard out to size and use it as a template.
To fendamonky:
Turbo timer ... I've read the good and the bad on turbo timers and I only set it to 30sec. It came with the car so I may as well use it.
Pettit duct ... I've been keeping my eye out for one but there hard to come by. I'd rather build one than buy one new.
Boost lvl ... I only have the base map and settings for the Power FC so what ever that is set to. I really don't need to go crazy on boost. I just want it to be as reliable as possible and pump out as much boost as that will alow.
BOV ... I thought it was good to have one of these?? The greddy unit came with the car and the ssqv fits better with rs intakes. Also I beleive it works better under low boost than my greddy one. I sometimes get flutters under low boost.
I will get a compression test. Injectors ... I thought would still be good?? I really don't "need" any of this. The car runs fine. These where the things I was planning on doing over the winter and have not got them yet. That's why they're listed of as "need". Basically I'm good with the stock turbos and engine. I want it to run smooth and reliable and push out as much power as that will allow. Like I said, I plan on getting it properly tuned next spring and want these things in my car before then. I've done some research and these are the things people seem to upgrade to make the car run better. Also we really don't have to many tuners out here where I live so I want to get everything done that needs to be done before Steve Kan comes down because who knows when he'll be back. Also I don't have the money to get a retune every time I do a upgrade. I'd rather try to do everything right the first time and keep it like that until I decide to go in a different direction.

So I did a little more research and a few guys have said to change fuel pulsation damper as well. Since I'll be in there doing the vacuum hoses. Also to get the fuel injectors cleaned and flow tested. Also the turbo hoses coolant hoses. I guess I should change the gaskets as well. Does this sound about right?
Vacuum hose job kit - Has anyone used this stuff? http://www.verociousmotorsports.com/...Cured-Silicone I bought some last year to replace some of the vacuum hoses and it seems to be okay. Just wonder if it would work for all the whole hose job without any ill affects? Will any zip ties work?
Thanks.

Where in Canada are you located? Where did you get the HKS rs intake? I have a turbo timer that came with the car. I never use it, as long as you drive normal 5 mins before you come in the drive way your fine.

A better safe-guard is to simply take it easy the last couple minutes/miles of your journey, stay off boost, keep the revs low, disengage the transmission if possible.. let the passing air cool your temps and turn the car off immediately upon reaching your destination. If you're that worried about cooling the car down you can even pop your hood for about 5 min afterwards, letting all the heat escape from the engine bay.

I'm in Calgary, Alberta. I got the RS intakes off of "radiantRX-7".

So I did the compression test ... all three pulses on both sides were pretty even and around 30psi. Can't tell exactly because my cheap gauge only has markings starting at 50psi. For over all compression the first couple of times I was just under 100psi on both rotors but I had two different how to's and one said to check through the trailing and one said to check through the leading. So I swithched to the leading plugs and also hooked a charger to the battery and got between 100 and 110psi on both. Does that sound right? Is this good or bad? From what I've read as long as there isn't big differences between the pulses or between the two rotors you should be good?
