Yes, 94+.
The brochure for the '93 says it has it, but not so. When mine didn't work (Aug '92), I took it in for warranty repair. The fine print says they can change specs without notice.

shitty! madza really sucks, but i love their cars.... why cant they not be shady, and why do we pay porsche-prices for our parts? haha mazda and the FD are like bitchy, high maintanence girlfriends. they take all your money, will walk all over you, dont work half the time, and theres always SOME problem or somehting to fix.....yet i cant get past the allure, mystery and sexyness. its funny cause i like difficult girls, and the 7 is just is just like the girls im attracted to.....i guess i just like a project

Have you called Ray at Malloy? The parts tend to break down by serial number sometimes. It seems as discussed in this thread they changed parts at will.

cpa7man: dont worry...thread is dead, questions have been answered 94+ (well ill let everyone know if it works in my 93 or not). if it works ill just try and find one used on the forum.
i wouldnt really call us a "team" i do all the work on his car... haha he's a psychologist and knows absolutely nothing about mechanics. well ok i guess we are a team... he grabs tools for me when im under the car and holds the flashlight thanks dad! i think i kinda talked him into the car ... he likes it alot (he also likes his outback station wagon though ) . he just uses it as a wekend car (its down right now cause i have to fix the intake gasket). are you a father son FD team too? heath

I tried a non-auto rolldown switch in a car that originally came with auto-rolldown. No problems, worked fine.
The auto-rolldown electronics are located entirely in the switch, so it's plug 'n play.

I know Rich (goodfellows) and his dad (kraken??) are on the forum as well. So that makes 3 sets of rotorheads.

good to hear im glad there are other F/S teams out there! my dads not on the furum yet... im gonna try to get him to sign up. he loves to ask questions ...mostly about reliability stuff since he has no interest in moding the car at all... but i respect that.

I'm sure you probably realize this by now, but it the 94+ switch works just fine in a mine, plugs right in, it IS a little pricey though... especially seeing that the only thing that broke is probably the $0.02 plastic switch
