Will a tall guy fit?

Hello there. I'm 6 foot 4. Not very wide, but plenty tall. Will I fit in a 3rd gen without having to sit funny? I'm not looking to take long road trips, just shorter trips for fun... so it wouldn't have to be totally comfortable.

I'm 6'4"+ and I have had my FD about 4 years. I sit with the seatback as close to vertical as it will go and with the seat two or three notches up from fully back. I do not fit in sunroof models as they loose some head room. The only thing that can be a bother is the steering wheel being unadjustable; I find it a little low. If the wheel were an inch higher it would be even better but you should fit just fine. Go try one on

i am 6'2'' and fit well. My feet are too big to do proper heel & toe, but I manage a modified half-assed version of it.

like diablone mentioned sit in one. call up some1 who has one for sale and arrange a test-drive. if you don't fit politely decline by saying "sorry, i am too tall for a japanese sports car"

It depends on the length of your legs and the lenght of your torso.
I'm 6'2" and fit OK but a friend who is also 6'2" does not fit since his torso is longer and his legs are shorter so he has to recline the seat and has a hard time getting in even then. So the best advice has already been given, try it on for size before you buy.

I'm 6'1 and I fit just perfect. Usually, no matter what car I get into I have to move the seat all the way back (I don't like sitting close to the wheel), but on the FD I still have like 2-3 notches to go before I'm all the way back.

I'm 6'4" and 225 lbs. I fit fine. I agree DamonB though regarding the lack of steering wheel adjustments (the ability to adjust it would be great!).

I'm 6'5" and I fit, but I should note that I'm all legs.
I have the seat all the way back and have plenty of headroom.

I'm 6' 2", about 220 pounds and I seem to fit somewhat ok. Wish I didnt have a sunroof though for more head room. I have the seat all the way back in all directions and had to replace the steering wheel with a smaller sparco one so my legs wouldn't bang against it lol. That was actually my first "mod". Other then that its sometimes hard to get in and out of but I dont drive mine much so its not really a big deal.

Yeah, I'm 6'6" and fit just fine - ditto on the sunroof models, the loss of headroom makes the car VERY cramped. I could only go with a base or R package. The car has been VERY comfortable for long car trips, BTW.

For me, I'd like to have the steering wheel about 1 or 2 inches closer and it would be perfect. I just can't get a good arm position being so far back. Bringing the steering wheel closer would also give me more leg room. I'll probably go with an aftermarket wheel and spacer at some point.

Dale

6'3" and I fit fine in a touring with sunroof, even fit with a helmet although top of the helmet will hit the ceiling on bumps.

doesn't it suck when you try and look over your left shoulder and you see tan interior instead of a window.

Thats probably the worst part of the car. A tilt steering would be amazing.

6'2 with a sunroof and I was cool with it. The only thing is the steering wheel and slipping my leg underneath it to get in and out.

im 6'5" and have the touring sunroof model. i keep the seat all the way back and reclined just a bit and i fit. i actually make road trips from NC to NJ and back almost every month. thinking of swapping steering wheels plus a spacer heard that makes it easier to swing the legs underneath getting in and out. defnintely wish i had the fancy lumbar adjuster my fb had though lol

I am 6"1- and with my hair gelled about 6"3-6"4

With that said, I am pretty sure you can fit well into a model without a sunroof. I have had both the sunroof model and the one without. In the one without the sunroof, I still had plenty of headroom, now that I have one with the sunroof...my hair stabs the headliner

Sorry dude, that's the funniest thing I've heard in awhile

I'm a wide 6'1" @ 265 and I noticed the steering wheel is really my only fitment issue. I bought a rolling chassis so I haven't driven it yet, but I sat in it for about 10 minutes to see how it felt and I loved the way the interior felt to me. I did notice that my head will hit the headliner (sunroof) if I try and sit up completely straight, but I never really do that anyway. No way I can wear a helmet in it without opening the sunroof.

I'm 6'4" and 150lbs and fit pretty well in my 94 Touring with the sunroof. Again, the only complaint is the lack of a tilt steering wheel.
