Will non-seq fix this problem? Opinions.

Here are my symptoms of the boost problem

After driving some more I have noticed that my boost pattern alternates. Sometimes I get 7-5-5 and sometimes I get like 9-6-7. It doesn't matter when I try it or what conditions it just alternates between the 2 patterns.

I have also noticed that sometimes I get like 20 in. of vacuum at idle and sometimes I only get like 10 in. of vacuum while idling.

I'm starting to think that I was right about the cat being clogged. What do you think?

I'm no expert, but I don't think non-seq will fix your problem.

When you see your vacuum sitting at 10, if you blip the throttle does it go back down to around 17-18?

Very doubtful that going non-seq will fix a boost problem. You said that you FMIC, so start there looking for leaks... Boost problems on an FD SUCK!!!

If your not getting 10psi off your first turbo, there is a boost leak somewhere. Only thing that can help that is to find it. Check all your couplings. Actually remove them and check, it's hard to see them in that cramped engine bay.

As far as vac readings at idle they are anywhere between 10 and 20 in. If you floor it and let off while driving it drops to like 25 or so.

The readings fluctuate alot. Its weird. Sometimes its 10 when I start it up and sometimes its 20.
