Ok, heres the deal, I still have the stock temp guage but unless its gone bad I dont think thats the problem....

anyway, its just acting funny. One day, a warmer day I might add, I turned my car off to get gas and when I turned it back on, My temp guage was 3/4ths up. I was thinking odd... but as soon as I moved, not even 50 ft, It went back to middle.

Tonight, I was driving and it was a bit cooler, and after I hit temp, my guage went down to 1/4th and then back to temp 2 times.

Any Ideas?

Oh, I just replaced all of my sensors too, think that could be a problem?

 

Sounds like it's time to invest in an aftermarket temp gauge . I would definitely go back and check the sensor to see if something doesn't look right.

Failing temperature sending unit or broken/shorting wire would explain wild swings, too. Assuming no other electrical issues.
