why would I get no boost after a short WOT run

After I do a short WOT run I get no boost for a few seconds/minutes and you can hear air escaping. I have checked both BOV and checked all vacuum lines. Is it possible to have a "lazy" solenoid?? I am starting to really wish I had gone single again...

most people say this is a problem with the turbo control solenoid once it heats up. Its on the air control valve on the inside of the lim.

if you are losing air though id assume its something to do with the crv or its related solenoind

yeah single is really nice for many reasons

charge relief valve. it is the black BOV that is on the other 3/4" hose exiting the turbo area and running to the airbox. it releases air until transition, then shuts close so that the secondary can spool and boost

I have been having the same problem... Mine is like this: Go WOT and then no priamry boost for a few min. or until I shut down for a few then start back up. All random when it comes back online though... I think its a vacuum line getting squished off or something...

I am going to try a new charge relief and charge control solenoid. Hopefully they are just getting lazy.

try the solenoids first... You can test out the crv by reading the manual. basically you shouldnt be able to blow through it at all unless it has a certain amount of vacuum applied...I doubt your crv went bad I think its a solenoid

I would try to duplicate the resuklts over and over.So that there is a repeatable pattern.for example at what rpms does this happen. How much boost you are seeing. When you hear the would be noise. If the car does it only when it warms up or all the time. This info is very important in figuring out what exactly is wrong with the car.
My guess would be either a solenoid or a vacuum leak.Check your intercooler couplers.Air escaping and boost building up slowly is an indicator of a boost leak generally.Good luck.
