Question Why is my car going into limp mode?

ok my car started going limp about a week ago and couldnt figure out why so i switched out ecu's still going limp and still having to reset the ecu. so hen i ran some codes on it and it said it was my o2 sensor so i looked at it and the wire was unplugged (there is no female end to connect to it) so i put it back in there and reset the ecu. then it came off again so i decided to do the same thing so i hooked it back up and put electrical tape around it to keep it in place till i got the piece i need but when i reset the ecu now it stays in limp mode any suggestions?

This is obviously a problem with your car's Cialis reservoir.

It was supposed to be a joke....poor timing I guess

anyway, a disconnected O2 sensor will not make your car limp.

Are there any other codes? Are you sure that you are resetting it? (leave it disconnected for 30 sec)

SOLDERING IRON.

You take two wires, strand them together and solder the wires.

Each relay/solenoid has the same diagnostic tree (1st pic) but you may want to check your main relay which powers those baby's up. (2nd pic)

Not sure how capable you are but this might help your diagnostics.

I dont know if it will help you in any way. However code 45 (charge control) will make your car go into limp mode. See the thread below.

Did you read this thread? 16 is the egr valve and will not set limp mode, however if your getting 45 that will put the ecu into limp mode. If you have removed the charge control solenoid, I'll need to replace it with a resistor.
