I agree. Not only that, but it is a gutted out car that apparently (peeling paint) was never even done right in the first place. It was a "prop" car, they are just tossed together to look decent from certain angles. $8000 hahahah.. Even better is the $75,000 comment!!! Come on now, it is worse off than a "recovered theft" car at this point- I don't care what movie it we in- Fast and Furious makes it worth even less in my eyes .

How about cause its not worth 8K....its a 3rd gen with no engine, no trans, no fuel tank, no front bumper, no interior dash peices, non of the interior controls or gauges, no pass seat. Its a **** paint job that started life as Montego blue and ended as red with overspray on everything.

I mean damn for that price as least they could have left in the pass seat with that sweet NOS set up hahahahaha

Honestly that hunk of **** is worth about $2K....you'd be paying $6K just because it was in the scene of a lame *** movie that ruined this forum

Good point. $8-9k will buy an FD with a blown engine and a complete interior and exterior. It may need some TLC, but you won't be piecing together an entire car from Mazda's parts catalog, which adds up FAST. That shell is worth $2-3k, tops.

 

i think it would be really cool to own a car that was such an important part in a major movie but both of those cars look like they are beyond repair for their selling prices

Yeah- lol- the "spot" we used to hang out at and occassionally race was invaded by hondas!!! The cops used to come by and just tell us to be careful, then all of a sudden there are 200 hondas there, the cops roll through and you hear "oh **** 5-oh 5-oh!!!" and they all scatter like it was a scene from teh movie or something, wrecking cars and spinning tires on the way out. Did nothing but draw attention and rui it for all of us. haha- I remember there was one cop that used to come through and just say "not racing, right?" and leave. He came one time after the honduh invasion and you heard the "5-oh!!" from teh crowd, spinning tires and fart cans everwhere- he just looked at us and said "**** it" turned his lights on and called for backup- busted like 70 of them that night . He would have let it slide if they had half a brain. Anyway..

Lol, I took one honduh doof for a ride in my old 11 second talon and he was screaming like a little bitch. Get back to all his friends and he was like "it's aight, I like the torque of the V-tech cars better- more responsive down low and pulls just as hard up top. Then the argument- "who needs a turbo when you have v tech" started going on- I just left. Can't convince people with no common sense.

My Chevy Lumina has VTEC. It's awesome, except you have to get the bottle refilled all the time.

 

i love the guys who spen like 100 bucks on an intake and 100 bucks for exaust to make there civic ex sound more like a lawn mower than it already does and then try to rev up on me at a stop light i wont even boter to race i look at laugh ........ **** out runnin them hurt there pride
