why does my brake light come on after i hit 2nd boost?

I've noticed this just last night, when i go past 4000 rpm, my parking break light comes on until my rpms go back down. Has my ecu gone wack, or am i looking at a serious problem?

Sometimes this happens when your Brake Handle mechanism is a little worn or loose. The Handle tends to lift as you accelerate, which in turn trips the sensor/light. Maybe??

The e-brake handle is probably lifting up just enough to trigger the light. If it isn't that I'd check the fluid level in the brake resivour(sp?)

Your car is so fast that its warning you there is no way you will be able to stop before you enter mega super fast warp drive 2. Either that or you need some more brake fluid. Yeah, I'd say its the second one

I concur. Check the brake fluid level.

I love that, under acceleration we can lift our e-brake handle. That means very fast cars with great horse power. My buddies car does this and I am in charge of keeping it down when we ride. Luckly my car does not. I think your Brake Handle mechanism is a little worn or loose. Like areXseven said.

yeah, it can be loose and causing it to slightly go up when you are accelerating hard, this happens to me too.

Keep in mind - with brake fluid, if it has significantly gone down in a short period of time... it must of went somewhere(check for leaks). Also, depending on system sizing, be careful when you top up your brake fluid when you have worn linings - because if you replace your linings you may overflow your M/C.... just a tidbit...
