God I hate threads like this. They are absolutely pointless. Half of racing cars is the skill of the driver. There is no point in having a "who's stick is bigger" contest over the internet.

If you really want to know, go race him and find out.

He is right though; You could have a 500 horsepower rx7 against a stock cobra and still loose immensely. Do some research on drag racing, Driving is the key.

As far as the cars comparing, they will be pretty close, it come down to if you can drive. My suggestion is go to the track before you start racing people. This is the best way to learn how to drive.

what is wrong with you people...

i have done my fair of drag racing and track racing. I understand that driver is important role. And i know my car. So stop talking down to me and acting like brats... Its a simple question why is it so difficult to get an answer...how do the cars compare from a performance standpoint when racing in a straight line with the mods that i provided

Matty, you can go to your control panel to turn the avatars off. Helps to keep the forum work-safe.

Personally I think the race will be very close. Whatever way it goes, FD or Cobra, it won't be by much more than a car legnth.

There sure is a lot of hostility in here isn't there?

Maybe we can dig up a few "What's the loudest BOV", or "What is da Sweetest FD kit" threads? Or.... nevermind.

Matty, be careful racing on public streets. Just use your head.

judge i dont think my question is similar to the "loudest bov" threads...i think my question is very fair and real. People just try to act like know it alls and hope on their high horse whenever they can. The fact is half the people that talked **** dont know jack crap about the fd or have much experience owning one...ie track time, drag racing, or wrenched on it themselves.

Wow I am not smart but yet I know how to spell "aren't" considering it's not even a word. You got all stupid attitude once people tell you the truth that both are good cars and it all comes down to drivers. I can drive a damn Enzo or Saleen and mishift and I lose. Geez
