I know that cobra has low end torque. More then the FD but the FD has some major high end torque. And you never said what kind of race this is this a roll off .. From a stop.... All around your a very ignorant person to assume that no one on this forum knows anything and if that is what you are assuming of people THEN WHY THE HELL ARE YOU HERE goto some other forum like the Cobra forums maybe they will answer your damn question. Mods please close this thread its retarted.

I wasn't saying it is similar to those threads.. I was saying we should bring those threads up if people want to do some thread-bashing. I didn't think your question deserved the response it got.

*******? please fill me in here.

the chain of events goes like this...i asked a question asking to compare two cars in a straight line race as i dont know much about how the 03 cobra repsonds to light mods...people returned with rude comments and assumptions that were pretty dumb. If you ask me, people just love to act like they are know it alls.

you are actually right...i need to ignore the idiotic responses. but at the same time i took offense cause i really didtn think my post was "noob" type. I dont know much about the 03 cobra and how it responses to light mods such as intake and exhaust. Therefore i posed the question and as a result people whom offer nothign to this forum except sarcasm and jumping on the band wagon like little sheeps following the heard went on the attack.

Have you honestly thought about that response..... Your asking A RX-7 COMMUNITY that deals with <takes guess> RX-7'S . Cobra has a forum and JUST A WILD GUESS there is probably someone else with light mods. If this sounds like I am being a jerk then fine I am but I am tired of you down talking the people on this forum.

Wow look I am stupid b/c I dont know **** about Cobra's but yet I know they have a website and I know this is a RX-7 WEBSITE !!!!

Its a simple question why is it so difficult to get an answer...how do the cars compare from a performance standpoint when racing in a straight line with the mods that i provided
Sorry, when people ask ignorant questions, you get treated like you are stupid and have no clue about drag racing. If you have drag raced, then you would have your expected ET you could make, then take a stock cobra and figure he has knock a few thenths off. THis would give you an idea of if you could win.

Dude I gave you a honest answer. This is gonna be even. The cobra's good low end torque will get you in the start.. The Fd's high end torque will then make up but probably to late if this is a 1/4 mile run making it even. That cobra is supercharged and since it has a early lead I bet you will start to creep him but not until near the end depending on how much you boost. This is if both are the same drivers. The launch, burnout , mis-shifts, shifting period is what is going to make the difference in this race and this is driver dependent.

all i asked was fort hat response not the sarcasm and flaming.

if a person didnt liek the question or thought it didnt have any merit they shouldnt have responded...i am tired of that mentality on this forum....its immature and its an attempt to promote one;s self by following suit with other people to gain respect...its so shallow and obvious.

How in the world was this sarcasm ? You think I am joking about Cobra's making quick 400 with simple mods. This is what I heard and what I am saying.

And you SERIOUSLY think he will get treated better on a Mustang forum? How about lighteneng up just a tad. All he did was ask a question; he didn't ask for insults. How is he "down talking" anyone? And how can you be "tired" of it? Not like you've been here long...
