you are gettin old, or just bored....the 350Z is slow....I'd pick the RX-8 over that thing

you could part it out...like fd racer...I just picked 2700 bucks worth of mods off his car...Hes going back to stock and selling it.

the 350z is nice. Id take that over the rx8 any day of the week. great design...decent motor to start with and a wonderful interior. Tis one of my faves right now.

I hope you get it ernie...cant wait to see a 10 sec 350z.

haha

I met a guy with one tonight at a gas station. They really do look much better in person. He let me sit in it and complemented me on my FD and said he almost got one but wanted a new car.

I owned a DATSUN 510, 280z and a 300ZX. Still drive a daily-driver SE-R too. But what's with the FD-copy swoop door-lines and some gawdawful vertical door handles. It may hold its own, but the bean-counters never released R&D to do what they are really passionate about. I don't see the driving passion quite there with Nissan anymore, yet, other than sticking a hot-rod engine in a sub-standard chassis lately(Sentra V-spec, Altima, etc.). Plus the Import tuner distractions right now. The G35 coupe is expected to outsell the Z, so what does that tell us?

was at the auto show in SF last weekend and saw the 350Z up close...still doesn't do it for me...it's definitely eye catching because it's new..but the *** is just so nasty...definitely better than the Audi TT but the overall lines just don't do it. Now, I could get over the looks if it performed better...keep the FD!!

also popular Z32 tuners "esprit" developed hi-cams!

The 350Z is HOT. The silver and black ones are the real head turners, but I also can't wait for the RX-8. I wan't to see a nismo and mazdaspeed version of each car respectively.

I'll keep with my rotors anyday over that slow 350Z. It is nice looking except for the rear end which looks rather nasty. The car overall is nice and a Nismo or any kind of turbo version would greatly increase the car's appeal would be nice. I don't know if I could ever go back to pistons if I were looking for performance. Unless it was a Skyline R34 of course.

I went to a dealer and checled out a 350z - nice car! I loce the new body and interior - didn't drive it but it looked nice. Although they're not a supercar, they perform rather well. 14.1 at 100 mph is FD territory so watch what you guys call slow.

Umm...to me, it looks like a poorly carved bar of soap.

I had a nice big fat check, and went car hunting, after my Supra TT deal crashed. I don't like it.

The interior was like the feeling of my Logitech Driving Force steering wheel for my PS2.

The silver accents were nice, but the exterior door handles just killed the flow of the car. It's way too heavy than I like, plus the front of the car just looks like the designers just gave up. And the rear needs SOMETHING.

I don't like it....it's a porsche look-alike that failed marketing tests.

It's kinda funny, because everyone's jumping on the 350z bandwagon...for godsakes..it barely touches 14's...for THAT much money, I expect a HELLUVA lot more performance although it does carve corners well..it's just too much of a boat.

The G35 ownz the 350z in every possible way, anyways...

I dunno i'm not much for Nissan products either, It just looks like Audi TT, to me, Speaking of the Rx-8 , what I wouldn't give to drop a Renesis into an FD and give her a mild turbo....****drool***

Personally, I like the G35 coupe so much better. I think the body flows a lot nicer....the 350z is too crazy looking.

350Z =
The Brembo's are nice on the track model though.
I also like the HID lights.
The car does look much better in person, but the interior and crap door handle are nasty.

The new G35 coupes are awesome. I went looking at them the other day. Just won the Motor Trend Car of the Year Award I believe.

The RX-8 looks a LOT better than the new Z.. I saw the RX-8 in person, and this is a wonderful car... At the beginning, I didn't like the suicide doors and the weird looking of the RX-8, but after seeing it in real.. WOW.. that's the only word i can use to describe this car.
