Who repairs clusters?

I know a forum member does but the wait is pretty long. I'm looking to get mine fixed without a long wait. I've contacted to companies that do repair clusters but they won't touch Rx7 clusters.

Any help?

Here is a vendor that does it:
https://www.rx7club.com/fdnewbie-imports-172/new-cluster-repair-service-tach-speedo-odometer-repair-822301/

I also saw someone reference a shop in Virginia that does repair them in one of the many 'Odometer repair' threads. Don't remember which one though. Happy hunting.

I'd PM Fritz Flynn about buying a new one, I am sure he has one laying around. You could either use it while you are waiting for yours to be repaired, or just permanently if you don't mind the odometer being off. (then again, you don't really need a dash to drive the car around )

What is wrong with it anyway?

When I live in Va. I went to that place to see if they could fix mine. They quoted me $230 to try to fix but they were not sure if it would the cluster even though I point out ecxatly what was wrong with it.

I sent mine to Speed-O-Tach http://sotelectronics.com/ to have the odometer switched out from my original to the used one I bought plus some other minor things. They did a good job on mine. I was recommended to them by redline gauges, who, being as famous as they are, didn't feel comfortable working on my gauges. Hope that helps.

+1. Very few places if any fix our clusters anymore. I've fixed a bunch of clusters over the years, but it depends on what's wrong with the piece.

Ill try him. Its the typical ODO/TRIP going blank. I tried repairing it myself and it worked for a while (couple weeks ) but went out again. So frustrating! If someone could nail a fix and repair them with a quick turn around they could probably make some quick money.....

^ some one recommended DNA to me also but I could never get a hold of any one. I called millions of times, send emails, left voice messages, every but short of stopping by. Never got anything from them.

I'm going to chime in here as it's as good as any. I don't mean to high jack the thread just hoping some guys with cluster knowledge can chime in.

I've got a tach "blip" problem within the first 5 - 10 minutes the car is on. The tach will either blip (swing +-1k to 2k revs), drop to 0 revs or rev to max. The engine doesn't actually rev, just the gauge.

I haven't taken it out to inspect for any broken components. If anyone has had a vendor fix this I'd love their info.

Mine was sent to him and I had to same issues about 1 1/2 months ago but eventually got a hold of him. Really nice guy but there were a few issues of not being repaired and shipped on schedule, but there was a lot confusion with that situation.
http://dnaspeedometers.com/ should have all the contact information if you want to go with him.

Not going to repair the cluster. I keep reading that even after you get it repair, they will eventually go out again. So I'm replacing all my gauges with aftermarket ones and will give it an OEM look. Read here for more info.

My mistake, that link was meant for the OP. I guess didn't distinguish it enough.

As for your link I've seen the post and its a good read.

Thanks for the link and that would be awesome but way too much money right now. The price of one gps speedo would buy me another cluster altogether.
