Who here has modified their TT's
Im thinking about taking my twin turbos to turbo city and getting them ported, installling larger fins, and upgrading to smoother bearings.
Has anyone ever had good results from doing this and do you have to run a bigger fuel pump and injectors?
Also how much did it cost you?

I am not sure Turbo City does that kind of work. I know that they will do a basic rebuild.
There have been some reliability problems with upgrading the stock turbos with bigger compressors. The problem is that the stock shafts are small and can break when you put a big wheel on there. I am not saying this always happens, but I have heard a fair number of reports of that problem.
Rotary Performance in Texas (http://www.rx7.com/) sells a stock turbo upgrade that uses beefier shafts. M2 Performance (http://www.m2performance.com/) just introduced a ball bearing upgrade for the stock turbos. These options are very attractive considering they would probably pass a visual inspection if you are subject to one of those for emissions testing.
One thing that you should definitely do is have the wategate enlarged to avoid boost creep if you plan to remove both cats.
