Who has rebuilt turbos with over 10k miles that aren't leaking?

For those of you with rebuilt turbos: how many miles do you have on them, and how are they holding up?
The reason I ask is because during Christmas time I replaced my turbos with a set off of the parts trader that were rebuilt, and supposedly had only 1,000 miles on them. I didn't know a whole lot about my car when I put them on, but they looked to be in pretty good shape. Now when I'm at WOT there is an unhealthy amount of smoke excreting from my car's exhaust, there is excessive oil in my intake, and even my reving in neutral it smokes some.

First off, Artguy, I know what you're going to say: "Get rid of that stock junk." But I don't have three grand to throw at a set of M2s or even two grand for a new stock set. I'm a poor student working for chump change at a Toyota dealership.

That being said, who has a long lasting rebuilt set on their car?
Also, is there a way to tell which turbo is leaking?

I had my turbos rebuilt about 9 months ago. No problems so far. They don't have many miles, but definitely more than 1000.
