114K - original motor. 15k on '99 turbos.
Amazing I haven't killed the motor yet. I've owned the car since 62k. For some reason it has no problem making 15psi (trying to understand why) so I try to keep a close eye on the boost guage but I've still hit the fuel cut off several times. So, amazing this engine is still going.

i used to own an fc, but i was bone stock and NA, I left it at 220k miles and still running pretty storng, the engine seemed like it would last forever, it was the stuff around it (alternator, pumps, belts, hoses) that kept dying out on me.

of course...

For starters my car is pretty tight. My steering is really good and it feels tight around turns. I have had some parts wear out especially bushings. Now that I have replaced my bushings/upper control arms/shocks/rotors/brake pads, etc..my car feels really tight.

I have worn sway bar end links in the front and my left caliper is a little loose when its put up on the lift..but I dont notice anything when driving.

My transmission is going out..atleast the main bearing is making noise....So things break, just replace the things.

I have met Batman too.

Very eccentric person. Pretty funny too.

you can just tell that he itches to push the limit.

As a matter of fact he should be called Howard Stern of the rx7club.

people that like him tune in.

people that hate him still tune in to see what stuff he might spill forth.

Just look at the views Batman's typical posts gets.

With that being said, I saw his odometer at 241,000 miles.

That is on the chassis.

Here are the original parts on his car:

diff
starter
air pump
power steering
ABS
alternator (he did have that taken apart to get powder coated)

that is all i can remember.

It's his engine that he has replaced 4 times.

New update: Don't know of the mileage, but it's probably 250+ at this point. He's also on his 6th motor now.

Amazing thing is, the car was stock for 150k miles. That means he's gone through a motor every 20k miles. *shudder*

one of mine is at ~ 190,xxx miles on the stock engine and turbos. i want to go for some sort of record but i'm afraid the engine is pretty close to the end of it's life. also i know this is the stock engine because we are the only owners of this car.

I have 120k on a '93. Stock engine and stock turbos-daily driver. I feel like I'm on borrowed time BTW does $6k sound about right for a shop to install a new motor, all said and done?
