White FD's left...

I thought I've seen some cars with black dashes and door panels and beige or tan carpets and seats though, seems a lot of the ones for sale are either like that or all tan interior. The only ones I have seen a 100% black interior almost every time were white ones.

An all black interior was available in every color FD there was when you include the base, Touring, and R-model cars.
Not only that, subsequent owners seem to prefer the all black look. I've seen a number of them switch out their tan interiors for all black parts. I don't know if anyone has gone the other way. If they have, or want to, I imagine they can pick up the parts (relatively) cheaply.

BTW, berfles, you're in Allentown. You wanna see a good selection of FD's, go visit KD Rotary. There are usually at least a dozen of them sitting around there. You should be able to see a good variety, though a lot of the interiors will have been seriously modded.

Ok thanks. I've been meaning to get to KDR but things have been a little hectic lately and I have an interview tomorrow. Would be nice to get the job, then I can finally get an FD

93 has all tan interior, seats, door panels, carpet, plastics.
94-95 has only tan carpet and seats
I have seen some base models that were ordered with tan interior I can't believe someone would rather have tan leather than the base seats.

Are you sure they were base models? Could they have been PEP / PEG option packages? Those would have had leather seats, but no Bose stereo or rear wiper. They were sort of halfway between the Base and all out Touring models.

Well, leather seats were a stand alone option in '93. If someone bought a base model and specified that option and asked for tan leather I guess that's what they would get. If that's what happened, then I'd say that's an extremely rare car.
There's at least 1 U.S. R-model with a factory sunroof, so there are rarities.
The other possibility is that one of the previous owners...it looks like there were several.....switched in the tan interior pieces.

My '94 Touring is Chaste White, black leather interior, with 15% tinted windows. Absolutely sex machine. Eibach springs with stock rims.
Mine has the glass sunroof as well which apparently was rare, but maybe not.
Wouldn't trade it for the world.

Ahh you guys with your low mileage FD's. I've got a 94 PEP Chaste White (Tan leather seats, sunroof, no bose). Throw down with 201,000 Miles. Yes, I will post that mileage everywhere
I'm proud that it has so many miles. Some things needed updating, but it still runs really strong, no squeaks or anything annoying.
