Whistling sound with boost?? whats wrong??

my setup is stock twin turbos spec 99, Jam racing stock mount intercooler ( similar to gredddy), blitz supersonic air intake only one with two intake pipes leading into it..

The problem is that when im under boost there is a very high pitch (loud as well) whistling sound.. I think its the air intake but after about .5 bar there is 2 distinct sounds.. if its the air intake then it should only have 1 sound right??

could it be the intake plus some loose intercooler hoses making a whistling sound?? anyway the intercooler piping is all stainless plus greddy compression tube.. any more guesses is welcome.. sorry if it hard to understand.. using Iphone to type..

Doesn't sound like an intake leak. But does sound like a boost leak. Check your couplers/connections.

boost leak.. you mean from the silicone hoses that is attached to the piping leading into and out of the intercooler?? and does the intake (blitz supersonic) make any whistling sound when operarting normally??

I'm not familiar with the intake. I suppose they could leak and whistle under vacuum, but probably not as loud as a boost leak. And you said you hear it when under boost, so yes...I would look first at the couplers for the pipes leading to and from your intercooler.

throttle body o-ring thats exactly how it was for me.. there was a small crack in it, so it'd start drive and boost.. but once u pass .5 bar it whistles like a reed.

and i would say check the the IC -> elbow pipes again... a small misalignment or if its not tightened enough would do it too.

Something similar happened to me but it was lower IC pipe that split. Since you have stainless pipes I can't say. Sorry.
