WHining noise during acceleration :(

Any ideas what this could come from....?

I let the clutch in and it stops... if im just cruising its not noticeable at all...

Its a rebuilt tranny, and everything shifts perfectly with it....

Throwout bearing maybe?

does it do it at idle? When you push the clutch in at idle does it go away? If so 99.9% its the TB.

My car does the same (FC) and sounds like a gear drive when I'm accelerating. Been like this for 30K miles as I didn't feel like pulling the tranny for this. Hasn't affected operation at all.... just annoying. However note that it could seize at any time.

Either throwout bearing or an internal bearing on the input shaft.

If your tranny is rebuilt I would take it back to them and say WTF.

From the topic, I was going to say its just your turbos spooling.:-)

But it sounds like a pilot or throw out bearing.

Reporting, as requested.

I'd also agree about the bearing. Bring it by, I can give you the FPR plate I made for ya too.

Do you have any tranny or diff braces? They can cause some abnormal whine and noise..
