where's the fuel pulse dampener

assuming that's what started my car fire, I figure I should start there for damage control. where is it and what do I need to take out to get to it? I put the fire out after like 3 minutes, so I"m crossing my fingers that the damage is pretty minimal. then again, water on hot motor=bad news maybe...

When you take the extension manifold off, you will see a row of secondaries mounted on the lower intake manifold. As you progress to the right you will see the solenoid rack. The primary injectors are located under here-you'll see. Fuel comes into the primaries from the secondaries in the front and leaves to return to the pump in the back. Where it leaves the primaries is where the fuel pulsation damper is.
