SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Where did you mount your turbo timer?

This thread has gone completely off topic. What is being discussed has been argued in many many previous threads. Mods can you close this thread before it gets any worse.

I don't have a turbo timer installed but if I was to mount the apexi TT I have I would place it on the right side of the steering wheel on the gauge panel underneath the dummy lights (high beam indicator). Or I would mount it in front of the shifter where the HVAC curves to meet up with the center console.

The issues I have with turbo timers is that they are necessary and add another failure point(s). What if the car one day does not shut off (and you are no where near it), or the failsafe ebrake fails to do it's job (and it happens as someone is stealing it), or if the car just dies on you while driving? These are all true stories by the way. But hey whatever floats your boat it's your car, and if you want another possible headache in the future go right ahead...

Me personally I don't drive like an ******* (meaning always lead footin it) everywhere I go, everytime I get on the car. I just make sure I'm off boost as I approach my destination and that's it. Don't get me wrong I don't drive like a grampa, I do enough WOT throttle runs. I just don't drive like the trip to the store is a time attack trial. Yes I know quite a few people that drive like that.

to be honest with you, I'm just lazy. But if I felt that the car needed a warm up (like yours) I would totally do it.

Warming it up is not as important as cooling it down, but let's not be retarded here.
Well I have 100,000 miles that say warming up is not very important . But at the same time I don't feel that warming it up hurts anything either. So in other words whatever floats your boat.

My life is a time attack. Watch how fast I can turn on the heater when I return to a frozen house, .002 faster than last time...
