where to vaccum AC?

I've got a good pump. Where do I hook her up to? My AC went out. I'm going to try that es12a stuff or freeze 12. I'd like to insure the system is clear of moisture before I do this. I'm going to see if I can get some leak detector first to make sure that isn't the reason the AC isn't working. Any other good advice before I do this?

The best advice I can give you is to take it to a professional or somebody with a clue. If you're asking how to hook up the vacuum pump then you don't know enough to be working on an air conditioner. I'm not trying to be mean, but this isn't a job for somebody who knows nothing about A/C repair.

Finally found my shop manual (just moved). Now I've got all the answers I need. It can't be any harder to fix than anything else on the car. I just needed instructions to point me in the right direction. Thanks anyway, Eat Pez.
