FL Where is the Purge Control Solenoid?

Getting a 40 error code (solenoid -purge control). I think I know what the purge control tank looks like, but Where is it located??

Thanks for any help.

It's kind of in front of the throttle body -

See the orange line coming from the intake manifold just in front of the throttle body? Follow it back, there's a check valve and then the purge control solenoid. It has a label pointing to it in the picture.

Thanks, found it.
There is a "catch tank" (black with vac in/vac out) -- which of these pieces is usually the
culprit? Looks oily around the catch tank -- I thought that this was for gas tank fumes? Is it something else and does it fail?

Thanks

usually the solenoid itself.
Ray@Malloy has them and they're cheap in the FS section if you're patient.

That particular solenoid is not known to fail often. It can happen, but typically the metal check valve in that system is the first failure point.
