Where to get Widefoot billet sway bar mounts??

I'm about read to drop my engine in this weekend and I need some billet sway bar mounts, if widefoot isn't still selling them for whatever reason. Do you guys recommend any other sway bar mounts? Thanks!

There's his user page. I'll have to go through my emails to get his number for you, I'll post back later.

Contact David via email at widefoot@comcast.net and he will get you squared away.

good luck contacting and placing an order... the guy is basically unresponsive. tried buying a set in the last 4-5 months. end up ordering the RB sway bar reinforcement plate from MazdaTrix.com

http://www.mazdatrix.com/h93-95b.htm

very happy with this piece.

David has always been very prompt(normally within a day) to respond to my emails and I have purchased multiple pedals and sway bar mounts from him... some within the last year.

Same here. Though I've heard a good alternative is the Mazda Comp sway bar mounts, they're solid units from what others have told me.

I have the "Mazda Comp" mounts and they are very robust and well built. You can find them at Mazdatrix or AWR Racing.

I've purchased a few widefoot items, and have always found David to be quite responsive.

Last year he reinstalled the brass bushings (for free) in my sway bar mounts after my sway bar walked one of them out of the mount.

If he's unresponsive, there's probably some reason he hasn't been able to get to it.

I'm not throwing stones at the guy. I've exchanged emails with him and bought a pedal extension. He's a nice enough guy and I'm sure he's just busy.

I'm not quite at the throwing stones stage yet - but I'm close. I have problems getting David to respond as well - and I have an order that was paid for in Feb,(now Sept). Still not delivered... So while he is good sometimes - not always. He told me he started a new job earlier this year, and that was a contributing factor. But most of the time, he won't respond to e-mails.

I made my own mounts. If you're good with metal it's not difficult

I now have a used set of mounts - and my e-mails of two weeks and one week ago are still unanswered..... Still need a set of v8 spacers and the tri-point bronze bushings.

The bushings are a work of art.

They can also be a pain in the butt.

They must be aligned perfectly, and getting them aligned perfectly is a chore.
They must be shimmed. Once you get it where you think it's right, then tighten the bushing bolts down, only to discover there is still too much drag.

If not, the rubber sleeve starts getting walked out of the mount.

I've had to ship mine back once to have them pressed back.

Now they need it again, and I think I am just going to install some neoprene bushings and be done with it.

This is an autox car FWIW.

Are the Widefoot mounts still being manufactured and/or sold?

Thanks
