Where to get a strong tranny???

Does anyone sell a beefed up manual tranny for the FD? What do the big dogs here run when they're over 450HP? I'm going to get mine rebuilt/replaced and I want to see who does the best job out there that'll last through all the abuse I do.

Steve Kan (pluto) has dynoed as high as 630 to the ground and I believe he's only lost one tranny. The stock tranny is pretty damn strong, you just have to be careful with mis-shifting.....

Whoopsie . Well hell, as far as I know you've only grenaded one tranny in the years we've been buds. Perhaps you were hiding the evidence from me

Still doing R&D on it....but we'll see how well it holds. If its worth it, we'll start selling in the near future.
