Where to get cheapest plugs at mad ammounts

Who sells stock plugs for the best price? or if someone has a few boxes that'd be nice. just need a few sets for breaking in the motor.

Autozone didn't have any NGKs when I went yesterday. Maybe its based on location.

Found some at Advanced Auto Parts. $5 and change.

another dumb Q. I know Rx-8 plugs arent exactly the same they have the stupif electrode coming out of the leading i think, but the trailing looks like the ngk race plugs. can any of the rx8 plugs be used in the FD? i doubt it but i thought i'd ask.

buddy of mine who worked at mazda gave me like 4 boxes of the damn rx8 plugs cause he thought I could use em...

The RX-8 plugs are all 7s IIRC, which is likely too hot for hard driving on a modded car.

especially since most recommend 9's for slightly modded 7's... IIRC

www.silverbulletrx7.com has a bunch of spark plug info. If you want reasonably-priced Iridium plugs, try NGK BKR7EIX and BKR9EIX plugs: they use a 5/8" socket, so they don't require any special tools beyond what you can buy at any auto parts store. About $7 each on www.sparkplugs.com

I've used them; the electrodes don't wear nearly as quickly as OEM copper plugs. They still get gunky deposits on them, so I like to remove them for cleaning every couple of months.

I've posted a few photos here:
https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/post-your-spark-plug-photos-here-417119/

Note that the part number I listed (BR9EIX) in those photos is NOT what I recommend buying: the BR9EIX plugs require a thin-walled socket, while the BKR9EIX 's don't require any special tools. I was very happy when I found the BKR9EIX's....
