1. Is this a right hand drive?
2. If not, the power fc should be on the passenger side...

The ECU should be on the other side of the car ie: LHD the ecu is on the right side, RHD ecu is on the left side. Unless you have changed the harness or something.

That's a left hand drive. Your not missing sockets, your missing part of the wire harness. Check the other side kick panel.

I'd assume the front harness plugged into the ecu is from a rhd.....or you somehow have it back to front....and half of the systems don't work?

For the old rhd cars at least, the front harness is no longer available new, maybe there's some stock in the US for lhd left - list price was hugely expensive though! You might try an ad here for a secondhand one that hasn't been worn through by the tyres.

The missing emissions - or engine harness, I understand a rhd one can be made to work with a bit of effort. Bending an old toasty 20 year old one might present problems in that case though...again another ad, or spend what, $US700/800 new probably.

Your car looks like a left hand drive which is the same as the ones in America and europe (UK excluded). You don't need a harness for a power FC. You need a stock mazda engine - ECU harness from a car in america or europe. Put up a wanted thread in the for sale section on the 3rd gen part of the forum.

I'm really confused...
Where was your factory computer? The Power FC uses the same connections.
Or are you starting from near scratch?

I might be wrong but that looks like a 96+ 16 bit plug so a usdm used or new harness would not work

It's an early ecu, no need to confuse the poor bugger further.

That is not a 1996+ harness in the photos.

He is just missing a large chunk of harness and the plugs on the ends. Why? Who knows. Maybe someone chopped heaps of harness out during a failed rewire, or maybe it was a failed project car.

You need to remove the harness and purchase a good, working complete harness. No small feat and $$$. Good luck!
