Question Where does this wire connect to?

I found this wire hanging around the oil filter area.
It's coming from some where in the engine and it seems like it should be bolted down. Does anyone know where it should be connected to? The wire seems like a ground wire...

thanks for all of your help!

- Tadashi

Looks like one of the engine harness grounds. I think that one connects to bracket on the accessory bracket. You will have a hard time attaching it without removing the power steering pump. Here is a picture of the bracket.

Looks like a ground. Just reattach to some place.

Thanks. Since it's just a ground wire, I'll just connect it onto the body or some other place where its easier to reach. If that's a bad idea please let me know.

You should really try to attach it at the original location. There are various circuits in that area that are using the engine as a path to ground. Without it, you may see bad sensor readings or poor control of systems. You should first verify that there isn't a ground already on that bracket. If you are lucky, it is one of the body grounds on the driver side. Good luck.
