I guys, I have to put my stock airbox back on so I can pass the visual for smog.
I've matched up the hoses, and I've ordered a stock BOV and hose to plug into C or D, but I have no idea where the hose for 'G' is supposed to go? Is it even used on all models? I had the apexi intake on the car when I bought it, and I don't see any extra hoses to plug into...

Can someone tell me or show me where that hose should be going?

 

it doesn't go anywhere...it just points down to suppress some of the moo sounds from the airpump...

 

the pieces goes laterally to toward the driverside ~ 1 1/2 inches then goes down ~ 7 inches to the crossmember where it then angles laterally toward the passenger side ~1 inch...moooooooo

 

Hmm....why bother? I've passed the visual with both a PFS and a rx7fashion intake, with no problems. I passed visual with the rx7fashion intake at a Test Only station even.

Intakes should be legal, it's just most smog techs don't know the rules:

Print that out and take it with you when you get smogged....
