where does the o2 sensor connect to on the car
The car keep throwing CELs, but the main one I am trying to troubleshoot is the code 15 which is for the o2 sensor. I noticed when I first got the car that the o2 was never hooked up and the wire was dangling underneath the car. I know the car does not need the o2 sensor to be hooked up to run, but I bought a new o2 sensor anyway. When I went to go find the harness for the o2 sensor on the engine side...I couldn't locate the harness/plug. Where is it supposed to be connected to? Or can I run a single wire to the ecu..and if so where on the ecu? I saw a diagram and it looks like it supposed to be connected near the UIM ground, but it looks like someone cut the harness at two spots where they branch out. Here is a picture of the harness showing that it was cut off .

It goes into the harness that also has the ground on the him and the plug that connects underneath the uim. Where it goes from there I'm not sure. I don't have a wiring diagram handy

looks to me like that cut off part is what would normally connect to the O2 sensor...
there is usually a connector right behind the UIM (near where that picture is taken) that clips to a throttle cable holder guide, and connects to the O2 sensor cable. I don't see the connector in your picture, and the nearest wire is cut, hence my conclusion...
best of luck
