Looks like silencer for air pump intake?
I take it you're not running the stock air box?

no stock air box, its using hks intake

it looks like this pipe is coming from intake(not air pump) to the acv of some kind thats at the lim, just wanna make sure before i install it.

its 100% some sort of restrictor, just not so sure if it should be install at the circled location.

It's a silencer for the air pump/acv relief line. When switching to aftermarket intakes which do not use a "box", that line can resonate a "mooo" type sound. Using some restriction in the line reduces the sound.

Ahh Thanks ! I was thinking of the same thing(silentser). So do I install it at the circled location at the pic above ?

Second part question coming up, same JDM car,

but I can't seem to find a plug for this.

It looks like some sort of boost/pressure sensor (I took it out it has a spring and some kind if plunge) , it does not exist in the early (zenki) version of the manifold. Where exactly this thing plugs into anybody know? I try to find it but ... nothing so far.

Many Thx !

I don't remember exactly where it goes, but I know it connects somewhere right below the ACV

There should be 3 of them, my ACV is gone so mine are just hanging out around the secondary rail toward the back of the LIM. Look under the ACV, they might be there.

Don't install it where you have it circled, its for the airpump... I have/had one one too.
Since you still have the airpump just place it there, or leave it out.. I have mine out.

As for the connector, the other connector should be somewhere on the main harness, it should sprout from where the emission solenoid connectors start.

^ That's incorrect

The hose with the silencer is connected correctly in your picture circled in red. The silencer needs to be on the hose for the airpump acv relief/output.

phew, thx. I assume its at the right location, by the length and shape, that is the only area which it "fits"

ok, I took everything apart (this is like the 3rd time) and I looked thru the whole harness. nothing.

the plug was front from the donor car which does have this plug.

so I would have to assume the later series (this is a series 4 in Japanese term) does not have this anymore as the harness doesn't even have the plug for this.

acccording to FSM, it seems that this is really just for emission purposes. correct?
